Welcome to Little Friends Summer Camp 2011!

Dear Campers and Families,

It is time to start thinking about warm summer days, swimming, the ice cream truck, silly string wars and scavenger hunts. Little Friends Summer Camp has all this and more! Summer Camp 2011 is all brand new and the excitement can be felt in the air! Whether you have attended Little Friends Summer Camp before, or you are brand new to our program, it is going to be an amazing summer for all.

Little Friends Summer Camp is proud to offer a unique summer experience while continuing to build on the many wonderful and lasting relationships with campers and their families that we have established over the past 30 years. Our program is designed for camper’s ages 2.5 -13 years of age and divided into three groups: a Toddler Little Rascals group, the Preschool Pioneers, and the Elementary Explorers. We offer full day camp from 7:00-6:00 or mini days which run from 9:00 -12:00. Thematic weeks are the base for a variety of stimulating activities including special events and trips.

It's never too early to enroll for Little Friends Summer Camp 2011. Mark your calendars with the following dates: Open house carnival April 30th from 10:00 - 1:00 and June 20th - First Day of Camp. As always, registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Enrollment is not guaranteed until you submit the required forms and corresponding deposit. Campers will receive a written confirmation.

Camp Day is from 7:00 - 6:00 Half-day is from 9:00 - 12:00

To reserve a space, a non-refundable registration fee of $75 ($50 for second child) and a non-refundable deposit of 1 weeks tuition must accompany this completed form.*Students currently enrolled Little Frineds who wish to continue on with the summer program will only be charged the school year tuition rate plus the camp activities fee of $300. Payments continue monthly.

Elementary Explorers - Sharks

Aloha Summer! Under the Sea Week

Week 1, June 20th - 24th

Summer is here! and we are turning the travel bus into a submarine ocean bound, where fish and sharks can be found. This week is all about the creatures of the sea so deep. Who knows, maybe we'll find a mermaid on a rock sound asleep.

Holi-daze

Week 2, June 27th - July 1st

Can't wait for the holidays? The get a jump on celebrating as we cram all our favorites into a week long bash. Christmas, New Years, St. Patty's, 4th of July and Halloween. The week will finish with a monster mash complete with DJ and costumes.

Camp Jurassic

Week 3, July 5th - July 8th (closed Mon, July 4th)

Our camp paleontologists will look for T-Rex's with their sharp teeth and nails and Triceratops with 3 horns and strong tails. We'll dig for dinos, meet the Lizard Guy and have a dinosaur stomping or two. These are just some of the fun things that we will do.

Secret Agent Camp

Week 4, July 11th - 15th

Your secret agent training begins here... we need your helpto discover a double agent who has infiltrated Little Friends Camp. Campers will learn tried-and-true detective techniques and test their skills at Kids Towne's laser tag. The end of the week the double agent will be revealed.

Wizard Week

Week 5, July 18th - July 22nd

Prepare your wands, hats, capes and broomsticks! Whether you are a fan of Waverly Place, Merlin, Hogworts or Gandolff, this week will thrill you. Campers will immerse themselves in a fictional world donning pointed hats, mixing potions and playing Quidditch. An amazing Magic Show will cap off the week.

Survivor Camp

Week 6, July 25th - 29th

En route to our next destination or plane experienced mechanical difficulties. We land on a small uninhabited island. If we are to make it to safety we'll need to work as a team and conquer some incredible challenges. Campers will make team flags, their own outdoor shelter and scale walls at an indoor rock climbing center.

All Star Olympics

Week 7, August 1st - 5th

From opening ceremonies till all the metals are handed out, this week will be full of games, relays and fun! Campers will take a trip to see the Trenton Thunder and sing on the pitching mound during the 7th inning stretch.

Arrg Matey! Pirate Camp

Week 8, August 8th 12th

Ahoy Maties! says a one legger pirate with a patch over his eye. On a pirate ship, land ahoy! he will spy. Buried treasure we'll go and search. So set sail aboard the Sea Gypsy (real sailing trip). Don't be left behind in a lurch!

Mad Science

Week 9, August 15th -19th

Goo, Fizz and Fun! Your camper will explore science hands on. Manipulate matter, make bubbling potions withdry ice, this week has it all! Mad Science will be visiting.

Wild West

Week 10, August 22nd - 26th

Campers will travel back in time to the wild west. From making feather head-dresses and tepees, to riding horses and wearing cowboy vests. This is one Wild West adventure that you do not want to miss.

Under the Big Top

Week 11, August 29th - 31st

Join us as we celebrate fun at the circus! Get ready for face painting, clown dress up contests, and our own Little Friends Circus with popcorn, games, moon bounces and more.
