About Our Current Administration

The Regional Director of Little Friends has over fifteen years of early education experience in private and public sectors. Most recently she worked as a center director for the past ten years.

Our History

Little Friends School was established in 1981 at 221 Edinburg Road, Mercerville, New Jersey.

The owners of Little Friends have just retired and our new administration is Inspired Education. Little Friends serves children 18 months of age through kindergarten. A summer camp program is offered which serves children through 11 years. Holiday care is also available for graduates of Little Friends and siblings.

Our Philosophy

Our Little Friends philosophy is to promote each child's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development through age-appropriate learning experiences.

Little Friends School believes that the child is the focal point of all activity within the school. Each child is taught on an individual basis with the overall goal to instill a love of learning and a strong foundation that will lead to future school success. Little Friends is dedicated to the education of all children without regard to race, color, creed or national origin.

Our Programs

Little Friends provides a stimulating environment for our 18 months - 2 1/2 year olds that is designed to maximize sensory and cognitive experiences, gross and fine motor development and social development.

Children in the 3 and 4 year old Preschool classes follow similar curriculum areas, with the activities geared toward the developmental level of the children. Preschoolers are busy exploring the world around them.

The Kindergarten classroom environment nurtures each child's well being, creativity, need for active learning experiences and independence while supporting the process of learning through play in a student-centered atmosphere. The curriculum addresses the special interests of each student to achieve their full potential.
